The Raclette Lover / Emile & Solange Fromagerie
We were asked to illustrate the French customs associated with eating Raclette. The film functions to communicate with and encourage clients to participate in Raclette evenings, and to inspire them to rent the equipment from Emile & Solange.
We chose to use a scripted satirical angle, with a little room for some slapstick. The video captures a joyful, intimate gathering with friends, with the anchor of delicious food and cheese as a central focus.
Diverging from the traditional portrayal of food in advertising, this mini documentary highlights the customs and social aspects that cause people to gather around food in a dynamic and playful way.
